Matt Baker: The One Show host backs important change as he addresses family concern

On The One Show last night, Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle, 34, took to the streets with a teenage girl to see how easy it would be for her to book in apointment to have lip fillers done, despite being underage. The singer was left stunned when discovering some shops booked the teenager in for a consultation or appointment without asking for ID first.

Concluding the segment, she said: “I hope by the time my daughter reaches her teens that more will be done to protect young people from these kind of treatments.”

Expressing his concerns, Matt added: “Me too, absolutely.”

The One Show presenter has two children, Luke and Molly, with his wife Nicola, who he married in 2004.

The host went on to ask viewers to send in their thoughts about the topic, which prompted his co-star Alex to say: “The industry needs to be regulated doesn’t it.
