Modern Family is coming to an end and Ariel Winter has actually already filmed her very last scene on the show! That being said, one insider report claims to know how the 22 year old actress feels about this huge chapter in her life wrapping up.
As fans know, Ariel has been part of the popular series since 2019, when she was still just a child!
In fact, that means she’s been starring on Modern Family for half her life so she is still adjusting to life away from set.
Ariel finished filming her last scene only a few days ago, on February 21 and while it’s a huge change, she is reportedly ready to move!
The star is apparently grateful to the series but also excited for a new chapter in her life.
In the meantime, she’s been enjoying the company of her boyfriend Luke Benward.
The source tells HollywoodLife that ‘Right now she’s adjusting to life after Modern Family and relaxing and enjoying herself with Luke. It was very emotional for her to say goodbye to everyone but it’s also exciting to be moving into a new chapter.’
On her last day of shooting, Ariel took to social media to share a pic in which she was posing in front f her trailer.
As for how she was feeling about the show coming to an end, she wrote in the caption: ‘In just a few hours we will series wrap on @abcmodernfam, and along with everything else, I will be saying goodbye to the trailer I have had for almost a decade. Goodbye trailer! Goodbye Alex plaque! 😢#modernfamily #memories #family #farewell.’

Another insider added that ‘Ariel is very excited for the future and will forever remember what Modern Family gave her. It is her family forever and now Luke being in her life is making the transition into her future a lot easier. She is excited to see what is next in her career and life because it literally is a complete open book and she really is excited about that.’
