Microsoft could be making this huge change to Windows 10 and you’re not going to like it

And now it seems the Redmond firm could be rolling that change out to others across the globe, according to a new report from Dr Windows.

The German publication has claimed when setting up a Windows 10 machine, they are being forced to create a Microsoft account, if they don’t have one already.

So what’s the difference between a Microsoft account and a local account? Well, the former can be used to link pieces of information related to operating system installation, passwords and other items to your account while a local account is, as the name suggests, an account that is only stored locally on a particular device.
