But the makers of the show have also managed to introduce the other versions of the theme tune in the show on a few occasions.
In the last scene of the first episode in season three, the 1994 cover by the Skatalites was played at the bar where the Honoré Police team once again met for a catch up outside of work.
The version by Andy & Joey also featured in season six, episode eight, Murder in the Polls.
