The Walking Dead season 10: Showrunner drops huge spoiler about season finale

Season 10 of The Walking Dead is finally back with episode nine airing tonight on AMC in the USA. In the episode, fans will discover whether the likes of Carol (played by Melissa McBride) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) will be able to escape the herd of Walkers left by Alpha (Samantha Morton) after they ran right into the trap left by the Whisperer’s leader. With eight episodes still to go in the series, showrunner Angela Kang has dropped a huge spoiler about how the series will end.

Now, showrunner Angela has added fuel to the fire by hinting at how the entire season will conclude.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly prior to episode nine’s premiere, she provided insight into the second half of the season.

When asked about the finale, Angela responded: “We’re working on the last chapter in post-production right now.

“I hope it’s really exciting for the fans. We’ve really tried to deliver something that feels epic.”

“I’ll just say that there’s some big stuff and there is a cliffhanger, without getting into what exactly that is. But I think hopefully it will be exciting.”

Now knowing the finale will end on a cliffhanger, could it mean a much-loved character’s life will hang in the balance?

Or will it be the introduction of a new villain or community? Perhaps the Commonwealth?

Fans will have to tune in to every episode to find out for sure and in the meantime, several theories have emerged to suggest what The Walking Dead fans can expect.
