Anthony Joshua belts: What belts does Joshua have as Tyson Fury claims WBC title?

Anthony Joshua currently holds four belts – the IBF, IBO, WBA and WBO heavyweight titles. The only heavyweight title Joshua doesn’t have is the WBC belt, which is currently held by fellow Brit Tyson Fury.

Fury won the WBC strap with a seventh-round stoppage of Deontay Wilder in their rematch in Las Vegas.

Joshua claimed the IBF belt back in February 2016, defeating Charles Martin in the second round.

He then faced Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley in April 2017 with the WBA title in his sights.

The Watford fighter successfully added the belt to his collection with a stoppage in the 11th round of a thrilling bout.

In March 2018, Joshua took home the WBO title with a points victory over Joseph Parker in Cardiff.

It was the first time Joshua was taken the distance in his professional boxing career.

The 30-year-old also holds the IBO heavyweight title.

However, it is considered by many as a fringe belt and is not as well respected as the other heavyweight crowns.

The vacant IBO strap was one of those at stake against Klitschko in 2017.

Last year, Joshua briefly lost his heavyweight belts to Andy Ruiz Jr.

He was beaten by the Mexican fighter in New York but regained the titles with a unanimous points victory in the rematch six months later.

Joshua is also a former Olympian, winning gold in London in 2012.
