Stephen Mulhern love life revealed: Inside the secretive star’s past relationships

Stephen Mulhern has been a familiar face on TV screens since the mid-1990s after starting out in children’s television before graduating to prime-time shows such as Catchphrase and Britain’s Got Talent spin-off, Britain’s Got More Talent. The Magic Circle-certified magician oozes charm and quick wit – but once admitted he finds dating a real struggle.

In an interview with Celebs Now, the Londoner admitted he was “on my own”.

And when asked if he was a “single pringle”, Mulhern replied, “I am yes.”

He added: “Last time I went on a date was about four years ago.

“That makes me sound really sad! I need a life. I need to stop working so much.”

But he’s not ruled out love just yet, as he admitted he was “keen” to find ‘the one’.

Although he did rule out online dating with a resounding “no way”, saying he thought it would be “a bit weird” and “bizarre” for someone from the TV to find a date online.

Fans of Stephen Mulhern want to know more about the man behind the charming exterior.

But a magician never reveals his secrets, and the cheeky chappie has not divulged much information about his private life.

“She swears she never set this up, but the camera did come on us and we went for it when you see the pictures, it’s really funny.

“She still says she had nothing to do with it but I doubt it!”

Stephen and Emma co-host a radio show together, and the 42-year-old is involved in a whole range of TV shows keeping him very busy.

In fact, the TV favourite earned a whopping £3million in 2019, propelling him up the celebrity earnings list.

Stephen, an ex Butlins redcoat, raked in a huge salary thanks to the sheer number of shows he works on – including Catchphrase, In For A Penny, Britain’s Got More Talent and Big Star’s Little Star.

The staggering sum sees the TV entertainer closing in on the £3.6million a year earned by Graham Norton.

However, he’s still some way behind his friends Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, worth a cool £5million each.
