The broadcaster and journalist also revealed that during their decades-long union, the pair have had their “moments” but it’s usually over something “trivial”.
“We’ve had our moments, and the occasional screaming, f***-you row, but it’s always been over something trivial,” Richard said.
The TV anchor also added there haven’t been any “crisis” talks between the couple and the two “respect” one another.
He continued: “We’ve never had marriage counselling, and never ever so much as discussed divorce. There have been no crisis dinners, nothing. We respect each other, and that’s the key.”
