Love Is Blind: Why weren’t all the engagement proposals shown?

Love Is Blind is the new dating show on Netflix

, with episodes dropping every Thursday on the streaming site. Fans of Married at First Sight, Love Island and The Bachelor will not want to miss it.

Why weren’t all the engagement proposals shown?

Not all of the engagement proposals were shown because quite simply, series creator Chris Coelen could not follow all of the couples.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Coelen revealed that eight couples in total got engaged.

He explained: “The truth is, for these people, when they walked in, they didn’t really know what they were walking into.

“They knew the general idea, but then they walked in and would say, ‘I didn’t expect this to actually happen. I thought it’d be fun.

“I’m going on a show and yeah, maybe I’ll find somebody that I like, but I never expected to fall in love deeper than I’ve ever fallen in love.’

“As a producer, I was kind of nervous like, is anybody actually gonna get engaged? Is anyone going to make it to the altar?

“And, in the end, we actually had more couples get engaged than we were able to follow on the show.”

The final episode, which will air on Thursday, February 27, will be The Wedding episode.
