Queen and Adam Lambert: Brian May on ‘TOUGH’ tour – ‘We're doing our job to the max’ WATCH

The iconic collaboration perform their second concert at Melbourne’s AAMI Park tonight. And now Queen and Adam Lambert guitarist Brian May has opened up on the highs and lows of their Rhapsody tour. The 72-year-old shared a new video of their soundcheck at the stadium today.

May wrote: “Here’s Jollity at the conclusion of sound check – Day 2 for QAL at the AAMI Stadium Melbourne.

“I’ve been a little quiet. The pace is tough, physically and mentally too.

“I tend to feel that if I’ve got nothing special to say, I prefer to be silent.

“And process. And recharge. But today is a new opportunity.”

Last weekend, Queen and Adam Lambert played a set at Fire Fight Australia, which has been raising money for the Bushfire relief fund.

The trio played the same six-song playlist as 1985’s Live Aid – the first time the band has done this since that charity gig.

This consisted of Bohemian Rhapsody, Radio Ga Ga, Hammer To Fall, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions.

The concert took place at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium, where Queen and Adam Lambert had performed the night before.

Following this evening’s show in Melbourne, Queen and Adam Lambert will now fly on to Perth for a show this Sunday.

They will then head on to Adelaide for a concert on February 26 and then on to Gold Coast for another on February 29.

After an Easter break, the trio will kick off the UK and Europe leg of their Rhapsody tour on May 24.

Queen and Adam Lambert will play 14 nights in the UK this June.
