2. Crowley’s grief when Aziraphale leaves
In the fifth episode of the series we see Aziraphale evaporate into thin air in the middle of his library.
After he disappears his beloved book shop is set on fire by accident and Crowley sees the flames coming from the store.
He runs in, shouting his friend’s name, and desperately searches for him while crying.
The angel screams: “Somebody killed my best friend”, and proceeds to drink away his sorrows at the pub.
He is genuinely sad to see Aziraphale disappear and it seems he cannot cope without him around.
