Hopper’s revival also makes a little more sense, as he was simply engulfed by the ethereal explosion from the Upside Down, whereas Billy was seen brutally stabbed through the heart.
Although, given that Billy helped with the Mind Flayer’s invasion he could be kept alive for further nefarious plots and cosmic horrors for season four.
No release date is set for Stranger Things season four, but with the announcement that production is well on the way fans are expecting more details to come soon.
