Trump health scare: New image sparks widespread mocking of President's medical condition

Republican congressman Kevin McCarthy posted a photo to Instagram of himself with Trump and colleagues at a dinner at the Trump International Hotel in Washington DC. Social media users immediately noticed the tired and jaded look of the US President compared to his smiling companions and couldn’t help but wonder what was wrong with “pops”. One wrote: “Sweet! They pulled pops out of the nursing home for lunch at Denny’s.”

Another commented: “Man, his face looks like some sort of evil demon spirit that can’t be photographed.”

While a third said: “Is this a bad picture or is his face actually melting?”

A fourth asked: “Why does he look so shrivelled? Smaller than Gym ‘yes I knew about it’ Jordan who isn’t a big guy.”

Some speculated that POTUS was showing the unmistakeable signs of suffering from dementia.

In November, Ms Grisham told Fox News Channel that the POTUS was as “healthy as can be”.

She aded: “He’s got more energy than anybody in the White House.

“That man works from 6am until, you know, very, very late at night. He’s doing just fine.”

On Sunday, a robust and healthy looking President attended the Daytona 500 NASCAR race in Florida.

The US President served as the Grand Marshal, giving the drivers their starting orders.

He became the second President to do so, after George W Bush who attended the Daytona 500 in 2004.

After addressing the crowd, Trump and Melania did a quarter lap of the racing track in the presidential limousines, nicknamed “The Beast”.

Unveiled in 2018, the 20,000-pound fortified Cadillac CT6 stretch sedan comes fully loaded with bags of the president’s blood type.

The $1.5 million (£1.15 million) seven-seater limo also comes equipped with special features, designed to ward off every kind of terror attack and assassination attempt.
