Royal Air Maroc has hit headlines after an “indecent” photo captured inside one of the carrier’s planes went viral. The flag carrier of Morocco has since apologised to its customers. The photo was of adult film actress Valerie Kybad showing off her underwear.
“Following the distribution of photographs showing an indecent situation aboard one of our planes, Royal Air Maroc apologises to its customers for these images which have menaced the reputation and values of the company,” said the company in a Twitter post.
“Following an in-depth investigation which demonstrated the isolated nature of this incident, Royal Air Maroc reacted with the utmost firmness in regards to the people involved and reserves the right to take all legal actions to fix the damage suffered.
“While regretting and firmly condemning this irresponsible behaviour, Royal Air Maroc pays tribute to the professionalism and selflessness of its employees, thousands of women and men totally dedicated to their mission in the service of our customers and our company.
“In particular, it reiterates its confidence in its cabin crew, renowned for their seriousness and their commitment to serving the airline’s customers and ensuring their safety.”

The FCO adds: “Avoid public displays of affection, particularly outside the main tourist areas and near religious places.
“Sexual relations outside marriage are punishable by law.
“It’s not uncommon for hotels to ask couples to show evidence of marriage at the time of check-in, and if such evidence is not available, to insist on separate rooms.”
Almost 700,000 visitors from the UK come to Morocco every year, according to the FCO and most visits are trouble-free.
Morocco is among the UK’s top favourite holiday destinations for winter sun, according to ABTA.
The neighbouring Canary Islands remain the top destination for British tourists looking for sunnier weather, with Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria seeing strong bookings.
Dubai and Egypt are also proving popular while increased flights to southern Turkey has seen booking to Antalya and Dalaman soaring through the chillier months.
The US, South Africa, Mexico and the Caribbean also made it onto the list. Orlando and Cape Town received a nod, while cruise lovers seem to be favouring Barbados, Jamaica and St Lucia.
