Nestle issues urgent food recall as the affected product may contain pieces of rubber

Nestlé UK Limited has taken the precautionary step of voluntary recalling Nestlé Ski Yogurt Variety Pack With Fruit Pieces, an announcement on the Food Standards Agency (FSA) states. This is because it may contain small pieces of black rubber, due to an “isolated incident in their fruit supplier manufacturing process”.

Nestle told Express.co.uk it is voluntarily recalling four batches of its Ski Yogurt Variety Pack with Fruit Pieces 480g (4x120g) as they have been alerted to the possible presence of small pieces of black rubber by the fruit preparation supplier.

The company added that this was due to an isolated incident during their manufacturing process that has now been resolved.

The food alert, published on the FSA website yesterday, explains that it is the Nestlé Ski Yoghurt Variety Pack With Fruit Pieces product.

It has a pack size of 480g – made up of four x 120g yoghurts.
