Emma Barton admits she 'feels like a nana' with new Strictly partner after Anton du Beke

Emma Barton, 42, has spoken out about the differences she noticed between dancing with Anton du Beke, 53, and Graziano Di Prima, 25. The EastEnders actress, who reached the Strictly Come Dancing final with Anton last year, switched partners and paired up with Graziano for the BBC show’s 2020 live tour.

In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, Emma admitted that although she was “very fortunate” to get the opportunity to share the dance floor with the two talented pros, she recognised the fact she is “a lot older” than Graziano.

The Honey Mitchell star explained in reference to her two dance partners: “I guess it’s different.

“I’m a lot older than Graz so I feel like the nana, but I’m just very fortunate.”

“Not many of the girls here have got to dance with two brilliant dancers,” Emma gushed.

Opening up about working with Graziano, Emma added: “It’s wonderful, I just feel like a very lucky lady.

“I’ve had the King of Ballroom and now I’ve got this talented Italian and I’m learning so much from him.

“We’ve got a little bit of Latin going on in one of the group numbers and this one [pointing to Graziano] is so brilliant at it, so I’m still learning which is great.”

Emma’s revelation comes after the soap star jokingly revealed she felt she had “cheated” on Anton during an appearance on Sunday Brunch.

Elsewhere, Emma spoke about missing out on lifting Strictly’s famous Glitterball trophy to Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse.

The actress insisted she “wasn’t disappointed” by the result and felt “grateful” to have been able to take Anton to the final.

She recalled: “Totally wasn’t disappointed one bit, I was so grateful to have got to the final.

“I really thought Anton and I’s days were over in week six after the disastrous Rumba and performing that in front of the queen of Latin Shirley Ballas was very difficult and so I’m really grateful.”
