Michael Jordan, Bryant, Scottie Pippen and Julius Erving are just a handful of Hall of Fame players have competed in the dunk contest over the years.
But more recently the All Star weekend has found it tough to draw in the biggest names in the league and Howard doesn’t think that will change anytime soon.
“During All-Star Weekend, a lot of guys are getting ready for the second half of the season,” he said.
“So it is pretty hard to get those guys to want to be in the dunk contest.
