Snoop Dogg Publicly Apologizes To Gayle King After Talking To His Mother

Snoop Dogg let his emotions get the best of him when he publicly blasted Gayle King for asking Lisa Leslie about Kobe Bryant’s rape case during a recent interview. After a chat with his mother, the rapper has offered a public apology.

Most people were in agreement that King’s question was inappropriate considering that the tragedy just occurred. While the majority of the public was on Snoop’s side, there were those who pointed out that he could have called out the journalist without the violent overtone and the disrespectful phrase ‘funky dog headed b***.’

Snoop returned to social media later to say that he didn’t want any physical harm to come to Gayle but kept the same energy that she wrong for what she did.

It seems that the artist has had time to reflect and he has changed his tune.

Without a doubt, Dogg has a problem with the incident, but he is acknowledging that he went about it the wrong way.

In a video, he states: ‘Two wrongs don’t make no right. When you’re wrong, you gotta fix it. So with that being said. Gayle King, I publicly tore you down by coming at you in a derogatory manner based off of emotions, being mad at questions you asked … so I would like to apologize to you publicly for the language that I used and calling you out of your name and just being disrespectful. A lot of people look up to me and they love me … I want to let them know that anytime you mess up, it’s okay to fix it, it’s okay to man up and say that you’re wrong. I apologize. Hopefully we can sit down and talk privately. Have a good day.’
