If you want the ultimate Galaxy smartphone, or even one of the best Android has to offer, then Samsung may have just unveiled it. The new Galaxy S20 Ultra is one of the most premium devices the Korean firm has ever launched with it featuring an all-new camera, giant screen and truly massive battery.
Let’s start with that new quad rear camera which not only includes the usual wide-angle and depth of field settings but also an incredible Super Zoom thanks to a new periscope-style telephoto sensor.
This extra snapper is capable of a 100X digital zoom and a 10x optical zoom, meaning you can get up close and personal to whatever you happen to be taking pictures of.
Samsung has also made it possible to grab high-resolution pictures from this camera even when shooting video so you should never miss a shot.
That’s partly due to the fact this phone can shoot in full 8K quality which means you get more pixels than ever in your footage.
Along with that impressive rear camera, there’s also a 40-megapixel front-facing camera which can take the ultimate high-res photos of your face.

Powering the S20 Ultra is a 7nm 64-bit octa-core processor (presumed to be Samsung’s in-house Exynos 990 processor but unconfirmed at the time of writing). The Ultra is only available in a 5G model, meaning everyone that picks it up will be able to blitz through even the most monumental of downloads.
Other features on this device includes an embedded ultrasonic fingerprint which is hidden under the screen, facial recognition and a water-resistant design which should help it withstand the British weather.
The S20 Ultra can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage which can be boosted to 1TB via a Micro SD card.

Galaxy Fans that choose to pre-order the S20 Ultra will also be treated to a new pair of Galaxy Buds+ which now offer 11 hours of life on a single charge.
Along with the S20 Ultra, Samsung has also lifted the lid on its new S20 and S20+ which will also be available from next month.
