The Masked Singer Hedgehog revealed: Who is the Hedgehog? Is THIS who is behind the mask?

The Masked Singer final airs on Saturday, February 15 on ITV. Last night (Saturday, February 8) Fox and Monster were unasked as West End star Denise van Outen and five-time Grammy Award-winner CeeLo Green respectively. This leaves just three celebrities in the competition for next week’s final, Hedgehog, Bee and Octopus.

Who is the Hedgehog?

Since The Masked Singer began on ITV in January and fans have been trying to guess who is under the mask of Hedgehog.

Over the past few weeks, Hedgehog has given a range of performances, including Little Mix’s Black Magic, Take That’s Shine, Oasis’ Don’t Look Back In Anger and Meat Loaf’s I’d Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That).

Each week, the judges Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora and Ken Jeong have thrown their guesses into the ring.

Their guesses have included Alfie Boe, Michael Ball, Jeremy Vine and Jason Manford.

One fan tweeted: “Anyone else reckon the hedgehog on masked singer is Jason manford?”

A second fan tweeted: “The hedgehog in masked singer, I’m going huge jackman #MaskedSinger.”

A third fan said: “Watching the Masked Singer. I definitely think the Hedgehog is Michael Ball.”

At the moment, Jason Manford is believed to be behind the Hedgehog mask.

Manford is a comedian from Manchester, who has starred in the musical Sweeney Todd.

He is currently playing the lead in the musical Curtains.

Sanford has also starred in productions of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Guys and Dolls.

His rendition of Oasis’s Don’t Look Back in Anger hints the Hedgehog could be from Manchester.

Another fan favourite to be Hedgehog is Michael Ball, who has starred in numerous West End productions including Hairspray and the Phantom of the Opera.

Speaking to Alex Jones on The One Show, Ball said: “‘I cannot confirm or deny – but we do know I can be a little prickly!’

Musical theatre star Alfie Boe, OBE, is also a firm favourite to be Hedgehog.

Boe is an English tenor and actor known for playing Jean Valjean in the musical Les Misérables.

Other favourites to be unmasked as Hedgehog are Rhydian Roberts and Tony Hadley.

Ladbrokes odds for who is under the Hedgehog mask are:

  • Rhydian Roberts – 4/5
  • Alfie Boe – 4/1
  • Michael Ball – 5/1
  • Jason Manford – 8/1
  • Tony Hadley – 10/1

The Masked Singer final airs Saturday at 7pm on ITV
