PS Plus February games boost as PS4 fans get free PlayStation rewards

The latest PS Plus rewards have been released, and they include a few surprises for PS4 gamers. While the February free games launched earlier this week, Sony has thrown in a few other bonuses on top of BioShock: The Collection, The Sims 4, and Firewall Zero Hour. All of these games can be claimed and added to your collection, regardless of the hardware requirements. As an example, Zero Hour is a virtual reality game, meaning you will need a PlayStation VR headset to enjoy it.

But the rest can be played on PS4 consoles and should provide plenty of entertainment for those looking for something new to enjoy.

And it just so happens that Sony has added another PS Plus free game reward this week to help celebrate another popular title.

Apex Legends recently saw the launch of Season 4, bringing with it new map changes and a brand new character to play as.

This will surely mean an increase in gamers enjoying Apex Legends during February 2020, even with the latest free games collection.

And if you’re playing Apex Legends this week on PS4, you can also grab a new exclusive reward on PlayStation Plus.

As part of this new PlayStation Plus offer, Apex Legends fans can download a special cosmetic bundle today.

It won’t help you gain any kind of advantage in the Battle Royale arena, but it makes for a great update for anyone with a PS Plus subscription.

A message from Sony confirms: “If you’re a PlayStation Plus member, you can download this exclusive item and keep it forever.

“Not a member yet? Subscribe to PlayStation Plus for loads of PlayStation extras!”

“Show up in the Apex Arena ready for battle with the PlayStation Plus Play Pack. This collection of content will trick specific weapons and Legends out in special gear.”

As mentioned above, this PS Plus game pack only includes items that are cosmetic in nature and means it’s a small download. And while it doesn’t contain anything for the new character Revenant, there are plenty of other items for the rest of the Apex squad.

The cosmetic items in the new Apex PS Plus bundle include two character skins for Octane & Wattson, two weapon skins for Havoc & P2020, as well as two banners for Octane & Wattson.

And there are other items available to PlayStation Plus subscribers on the PS Store this month.

Most of these are for free games, like Apex Legends on PS4. So it’s worth checking out the latest offers for titles like Fortnite Battle Royale, Skyforge, Warface, and Genesis.

There are also a few collections for paid-for games, like Dragon Quest Builders 2 that are available on PS4 consoles.

And as mentioned above, there is still the official February free games available to download today.

One of the more interesting is the Bioshock Collection, which includes all three games in the series.

“From the undersea city of Rapture to the airborne metropolis of Columbia, BioShock: The Collection takes players on monumental journeys through awe-inspiring, deceptively dangerous places that are simply unforgettable,” a message from Sony confirms.

“BioShock: The Collection features all three games in this award-winning series – BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite – remastered in 1080p, including all single-player add-on content.”

These will be available until Match 2 on PS4 and PS4 Pro.
