If they did it would help bolster the console’s exclusive line-up and could also held incentives gamers in Japan to pick up the next Xbox.
Japan has notoriously been a hard region for the Xbox to crack, with a report last year highlighting this.
It was claimed that between launching in 2014 and the start of 2019 the Xbox One had managed to sell just 102,931 units in the Land or the Rising Sun.
