Supermoon this weekend: How to watch in USA, India, Canada and UAE – Live stream peak time

What time will the Supermoon peak in your area?

A Supermoon only occurs when a Full Moon approaches the point of lunar perigee or closest orbit of Earth.

As a result, the Full Moon can appear bigger and brighter than usual.

This year the Moon will hit perigee on Monday, February 10, meaning the Full Moon on the day prior will be super.

Here in the UK, the Full Moon will peak around 7.33am GMT on Sunday, before disappearing for the day around 7.55am GMT.

After that, you will have to wait until 5.17pm GMT for the Moon to rise in the east-northeast skies.

In the US, the Supermoon will peak at around 2.33am EST on Sunday for New York City, and around 11.33pm PDT on Saturday for Los Angeles.
