Phantasy Star Online 2 beta: Good and bad Xbox One news ahead of release date and time

Phantasy Star Online 2 beta will be launching soon on the Xbox One, and there’s good and bad news for those looking to take part in it. Phantasy Star Online 2 is finally coming to the West, with Microsoft announcing a deal to bring it to the Xbox One at E3 2019. And before the release date of Phantasy Star Online 2 a beta will be taking place on the Xbox One.

The Phantasy Star Online 2 beta begins this Friday and will offer Xbox One fans over 24 hours to try out one of Japan’s biggest online RPGs.

Those who participate will retain their progress and have a chance to obtain special in-game rewards.

That’s the good news for Xbox One gamers – the bad news is that the PSO2 beta is a closed beta that is only available to those in the United States and Canada.

So those in the UK who were hoping to play Phantasy Star Online 2 will miss out.
