Jorginho agent

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho could be set to leave Stamford Bridge during the upcoming summer transfer window.

The Italian midfielder’s agent revealed that the star would be open to leaving.

Speaking to Italian outlet Tuttomercato, his agent Joao Santos said: “Why not?” when asked if his client would be open to a return to Italy.

“[Jorginho’s] goal is Euro 2020 with the national team – there are many expectations around Mancini’s team,” he continued.

“The Euros are also a good personal showcase, he is doing very well at Chelsea and I am sure that some important offers will come because in his role there are not many high level players like him around.

“I am sure that some important offers will come, which we would obviously evaluate together with Chelsea.”

Isco offered

Real Madrid are set to offer Isco to Chelsea as part of a plan to sign N’Golo Kante.

Bernabeu bigwig Florentino Perez is eager to use the playmaker to reduce the price for the World Cup winner.

According to El Desmarque, the former Leicester City midfielder is one of Zidane’s top targets in the summer window.

Perez, the club’s president, takes care of the transfer details and is already trying to work out how to get Kante on board.

He reportedly hopes to use Chelsea’s interest in Isco to reduce Kante’s price.

Why I joined Chelsea – Andersson

New Chelsea recruit Edwin Andersson has explained why he decided to join Chelsea.

Manchester United and Manchester City were both linked with the Swedish talent, but Andersson thinks the Stamford Bridge club ‘suited’ him best.

“It is a dream come true,” he told the Swedish Chelsea Supporters club. “Chelsea was the club that suited me best and it is a club with incredibly good conditions.”

Speaking to Swedish outlet Expressen last year, his father Mikael Andersson compared him to two current players: “He’s pretty much like Callum Hudson-Odoi at Chelsea. When he was younger, he was a little more like Ronaldo. He mainly stays on the left.”

Done Deal: Edwin Andersson signs

Chelsea have completed the signing of IFK Gothenburg winger Edwin Andersson.

That’s according to the Swedish club, who released an official statement on their website on Wednesday afternoon.

“We of course wish Edwin good luck. We would have liked to have seen him stay with us but that he is being recruited to Chelsea is a good mark on our business,” Gothenburg’s academy manager Jonas Olsson said.

The 16-year-old teenager, who has represented Sweden at Under-17 level, previously had a trial with Manchester United but was turned away.
