President Trump previously hit out at NFL players who chose to kneel in protest during the anthem.
In 2018, He told Fox and Friends: “You have to stand, proudly, for the national anthem or you shouldn’t be playing.
“You shouldn’t be there. Maybe you shouldn’t be in the country.”
The Trump family watched the Super Bowl at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach.

The US President found himself at the centre of a major Twitter gaffe after congratulating Kansas City Chiefs, the Super Bowl LIV winners.
Taking to Twitter to congratulate the team, Trump made a huge blunder by giving his praise to the Kansas City Chief of the state of Kansas – despite the team hailing from Missouri.
The president, who prides himself on everything American, was duly called out on Twitter for the mistake after he deleted the original and re-uploaded it with the correct geographical reference.
The first tweet read: “Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs on a great game and a fantastic comeback under immense pressure.
Twitter users pounced on the blunder, with one person writing: “In fairness, you’re not only an international embarrassment.
“You’re also an embarrassment back at home.”
Another, quite sarcastically, wrote: “Aren’t you going to congratulate the San Francisco 49ers for their great effort and all of the people of the great state of Washington?”
A separate user wrote: “We know you thought they were from the state of Kansas.
“The internet is forever!”
