James Martin: Saturday Morning chef makes rare red carpet appearance at GQ Car Awards 2020

James Martin, 47, looked dapper when he stepped out in London last night.

The TV chef headed to the Corinthia Hotel on Whitehall to attend the GQ Car Awards 2020.

During the award ceremony, the presenter – who hosts his own self-titled show, Saturday Morning with James Martin – took to the stage to present “the big award.”

James wore a stylish tweed suit for his outing, teamed with a coordinating waistcoat and undone white shirt.

Ahead of the main ceremony, the car enthusiast took to Twitter from the red carpet to share a video of the “nice cars” at the event.

Alongside a picture of the car-themed invitation, which was in the shape of a Michelin tyres, he told his 655,200 followers about his night ahead.

He said: “Presenting the big award tonight…nice cars arriving for the event @britishgq #gqcarawards.”

James, who has an impressive collection of classic cars, presented the Lifetime Achievement award to The Grand Tour star Jeremy Clarkson, 59.

The television host was smartly dressed to collect his award, in a sharp suit and light blue shirt.

The fellow car enthusiast has hosted motoring programs such as Top Gear and Clarkson’s Top 100 Cars since 1988.

He arrived at the bash with his girlfriend Lisa Hogan.
