Emma Willis is a TV presenter and former model who is best known for her hosting skills on The Voice, Big Brother and The Circle. In her personal life, she has been married to Busted bass player Matt since 2008 and they now have three children together. But why is the Heart FM presenter so jealous of her husband?

Emma Willis, 43, first met Matt, 36, during an interview for MTC in the early 2000s.

She began dating him after she asked him out on a date via her friend, Simon Webbe, a band member of the boyband Blue.

Simon passed her phone number onto Matt and after that, the couple began their relationship.

Eight years later the couple were married at in Northampton and they went on to have three children: Isabelle, 10, Ace, eight and Trixie, three.

Speaking candidly about parenting their three children, Emma admitted to Dave Berry on his Dadpod podcast that she is “jealous” that her three children to go to Matt over her for “fun”.

She said: “Oh, he’s like the fourth child.

“And that for me, is perfect, because I think he has such a fantastic bond and relationship with them because he can get down on their level – do you know what I mean?

“And when they want fun they go to him.”

She has previously spoken about how her daughter helped her former addict husband Matt turn his life around.

She told the Telegraph: “What really changed him was our daughter, Isabelle.

“Isabelle was his real…Oh God, I’m going to start crying. Isabelle was his real focus.

“He was already doing it [recovery] himself, then she arrived and that made him even more determined.”

The Busted band member has previously spoken out about his addiction saying he is an “addict all the way through”.

Speaking to Matt Johnson and Bed Bidwell on The Naked Professors podcast, Matt said: “ “Everything that takes me away from feeling the way I feel is a problem for me because I cannot deal with how I feel, so I will do anything possible to take that away and change the way I feel.

“I was mildly asthmatic as a kid and I used to hide under my duvet and take as many hits of my inhaler as I possibly could when I was about seven because it would make my head throb, make my lips tingle.

“I’d be getting high in my bed at seven years old so I have always had this in me to find ways to get away from dealing with who I am and how I feel.

“Quitting drinking was one of the hardest tasks in my life.”

Matt has also talked about how being in Busted and how being away from home is the “worst part” of his job.

He told Express.co.uk: “It’s the worst part of my job.

“Everything I do takes me away from home unless it’s theatre.”

Explaining why he enjoys the stage so much, he added: “I like the fact that it’s close to where I live.

“I get to go home every day, I go to work and get a bit of a routine.

“I’ve never had routine in my life and I like it a lot.”
