Counting On – Amy Duggar Shows Off Her Post-Baby Body Four Months After Giving Birth To Son Daxton – ‘When I look in the mirror I see a MOM’

Counting On and 19 Kids & Counting alum Amy Duggar gave birth to her first child in October, and now she is proudly showing off her post-baby body. Duggar posted a series of mirror selfies on Instagram to show her fans that moms may not have “magazine perfect” bodies, but they are a reflection of creating life.

“My body is not magazine perfect, but this is me,” wrote Duggar. “When I look in the mirror I see a MOM. And there is no greater honor, love or blessing! To all the mama’s out there struggling to except [sic] their new figure just remember every scar, tummy pooch, and stretch mark and flabbiness you have now has created life! Be proud of that!”

She went on to say that a woman’s body is powerful and it “made you a mother.” Duggar told her followers to forget society’s standards on what is beautiful because mom bodies are “bad*ss.” She finished her caption by writing that new moms should be patient with their progress and love themselves.

In the pics, Duggar posed in a black sports bra and jeans, and she showed off her tummy from four different angles to show how her body has changed since she and her husband Dillon King welcomed their son, Daxton Ryan.

The 3130 clothing boutique owner is obviously loving life as a new mom, as she has documented the experience in detail over the past few weeks. She has been extremely candid about the changes in her life, including how she now considers a trip to the grocery store “going out” and that she spent New Year’s Eve on the couch with a breast pump and baby monitor in hand and her husband by her side.

Duggar told Us Weekly in August 2019 – just weeks before Daxton arrived – that she and King got to live their lives the way they wanted for a while, and now they are focusing on building their family. But, that doesn’t mean she wants 19 kids like her uncle and aunt, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.

Amy Duggar King says that she and Dillon only want “two, maybe three,” and they’ve finally reached a point in life where they are ready to start.

For fans who are hoping to see Cousin Amy on future episodes of Counting On, it’s probably not going to happen. Jill Duggar’s husband Derick Dillard claims that TLC cuts his family and Amy’s family out of Duggar events where TLC cameras are present, like at Grandma Mary’s funeral last summer.
