Sky and Virgin Media slash broadband prices but these deals come with a catch

This is where Virgin Media can safely say it beats its rivals. The fibre broadband company has its M100 speeds for £27 per month.

This deal includes very fast internet of 108Mbps plus there’s Talk Weekends thrown in as well.

There’s also discounted 213Mbps speeds for £32 per month or 362Mbps speeds for £37. All of these bundles are better suited to those who hammer the web every day but, like Sky, there is a catch.

Unlike Sky who has cut the price for a full 18 months, Virgin is only offering the discount for 12 months with the price then shooting up once the contract comes to an end.

In fact, its M350 package jumps from £37 to a whopping £59 per month once the initial period has ended.
