Even though Miley Cyrus likes to have a good time at Awards shows, it doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone likes the way she goes about it. Reported by Page Six, Miley claims she may not have been “invited” to the Grammy Awards this year because of her stunt back in 2013 when she smoked a blunt onstage at the MTV EMAs in Amsterdam.
The 27-year-old joked on her IG account, stating that it wasn’t hard to understand why she doesn’t get invited anymore. The star took out a blunt from her purse and started smoking it on stage.
Afterward, many of Miley’s personal friends began shouting out to her in the comments, including Lisa Rinna who said she’d have her at her ceremony if she ran one. Alexander Wang, on the other hand, urged Miley to never change.
Even though Miley didn’t get any props from the Grammys this year, she easily could’ve gone to the Awards ceremony along with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, who was up for three awards alongside Lil’ Nas X, for their hit song, “Old Town Road.”
Billy Ray and Lil Nas X ended up walking away with two awards for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Music Video, as well. In another post, Miley shouted out to both artists, congratulating her father and the rapper.
Fans of Miley know she had an eventful past year as well, following her controversial split with Chris Hemsworth. Chris and Miley broke up last year, and just recently finalized their divorce.
People Magazine reported just a few hours ago today that Liam and Miley finalized their legal separation just 13 months after getting married.

Court documents obtained by People Magazine confirmed the news of their divorce officiation. Neither party is looking to gain spousal support, and neither party had any assets or liabilities to split up. Sources close to the couple, at the time of their split, claimed they simply rushed into it. Miley still wants to be free yet.
