Some of Hailey Baldwin’s followers made fun of her crooked pinky fingers and she took to social media to ask them to stop and to reveal the reason why they look like that. That being said, in a couple of Instagram stories, she shared a close-up of her hands and revealed that she has a genetic condition known as Ectrodactyly.
The supermodel managed to shut down the haters with those couple of stories!
The first image showed her left hand, which also donned the huge engagement diamond from her husband, Justin Bieber as well as her wedding band.
Alongside it, she wrote: ‘ok let’s get into the pinky conversation, because I’ve made fun of myself about this for forever so I might as well just tell everyone why they’re so crooked and scary.’
She went on to reveal the cause, without hesitating, in the story that followed.
It was a screenshot of a Wikipedia page with the condition Ectrodactyly and its definition highlighted.
Furthermore, Hailey captioned it with: ‘I have this thing called Ectrodactyly. It causes my pinky fingers to look the way they do. It’s genetic. I’ve had it my whole life. So people can stop asking me ‘wtf is wrong with her pinky fingers’ here’s what’s wrong! Lol.’
Finally, she shared her request to those who keep mocking the way her pinkies look like: ‘So in conclusion please stop roasting me about my pinky fingers.’
Quite immature for people to roast someone for the way their pinkies look like but this is the internet so anything is possible, especially when you’re famous!
Instead of focusing on that, maybe the haters should have just joined the fans who totally had their eyes on something else entirely – Hailey’s bold look at the premiere of her husband’s YouTube Original docu-series, Justin Bieber: Seasons.
