Despite rumors that Wendy Williams and NeNe Leakes are no longer friends after the talk show host revealed a private conversation on air, she wanted to make it very clear that they are actually ‘still cool!’ As you probably know, this comes about a week after Wendy told her audience that NeNe was leaving the Real Housewives of Atlanta!
It was all a misunderstanding but at the end of the day, it appeared like NeNe was still really mad that Wendy had decided to expose a text message she’d sent her that day, a text that only made it seem like she was done with RHOA.
However, now Wendy claims they don’t have any bad blood and that they are actually still very much friends.
‘Just in case you’re still wondering, NeNe and I still cool, ok,’ she mentioned during her Hot Topics segment.
At the time, the host was talking about Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge leaving the Real Housewives of Orange County and that seemingly reminded her of the drama with NeNe.
Therefore, she paused to update people on their relationship.
‘And, no, I haven’t talked to her about this [RHOC] revelation because I just learned about it this morning,’ she added, explaining that the day before she took some time off to mourn the passing of Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna.
While Wendy says everything is in order with NeNe, the latter is yet to address the status of their friendship.
However, she did tweet on January, 22, that ‘Private conversations should be left in private! What are girlfriends for if you can’t vent to them on those type of days.’
As you can see, she did not drop any names but fans are convinced she was talking about Wendy.

Who knows? Maybe the two ladies have patched things up behind the scenes.
