Top Gear host hits out at Clarkson, May and Hammond: ‘The chemistry wasn’t there’

Speaking with Metro.co.uk, the host said: “People often look at the past through the rose tinted glass but if you go back to Top Gear 2000/2002 the chemistry wasn’t there, it took time to grow.

Of Jeremy, James and Richard’s response to the new trio, Chris added: “People often look at the past through the rose tinted glass but if you go back to Top Gear 2000/2002 the chemistry wasn’t there, it took time to grow.

“When we took a battering about there being no chemistry, they knew better than anyone that takes time.

“You can’t just throw three strangers in a room and expect them to the great buddies,” he continued.

It seems fans are thinking a lot about the new presenters however, who are now into their second season hosting together.
