Your Samsung 4K TV has just been outclassed and here's why the future looks very exciting

THERE’S NO 8K FOOTAGE SO WHY DO I NEED IT?

Obviously, there’s currently no 8K content being beamed into homes by broadcasters (apart from that one-off test by BBC iPlayer a few years back) but this new telly uses clever AI-powered upscaling technology to make anything you watch appear almost as if it’s been filmed in this sensational format.

Of course, native 8K content will always look better, but this is a nice answer for the complete lack of 8K broadcasts and streams at the moment.

IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT THE PICTURE?

Other additions to this new TV include some pretty impressive speakers which are able to magically move the audio around the screen meaning you get an almost surround sound experience without needing to buy any additional equipment.

Another nice feature is an adaptive picture setting which is able to automatically adjust the brightness and contrast based on the TV’s surroundings. This is similar to what many smartphones and tablets now offer and should make viewing endless boxsets and blockbuster movies little easier on the eyes.

And you’ll also find in-built support for smart assistants such as Bixby and Amazon’s Alexa.
