WWE star Brock Lesnar will win Royal Rumble Match for this reason – Nikki Cross EXCLUSIVE

WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is the likeliest superstar to win the men’s Royal Rumble Match, according to Nikki Cross. Lesnar will be competing in the historic 30-men over-the-top-rope battle royal this Sunday at the Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas and is so confident about his chances that he will be coming in to the match as the No1 entrant.

History shows that his chances are not favourable as only two wrestlers have ever managed to win the prestigious bout by drawing the same number but Cross still believes that he is the odds on favourite.

The Scottish superstar, though, is not counting out any of the other superstars scheduled to compete, such as Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Randy Orton and more, as she expressed her desire to see Kofi Kingston or Big E from The New Day standing tall.

But the 30-year-old bruiser believes that Lesnar’s track record and championship reigns prove that he has a major advantage over the rest of the competition.

Cross told Express Sport when asked who will win the Men’s Royal Rumble Match: “Probably Brock… I could say Brock.

“But [at the] Royal Rumble you can really see some names who are becoming more established on RAW and SmackDown, you could have someone really rise up and really make a name for themselves.

“And I think we have a lot of guys who are hungry and ready to go and you can see any one of them winning it.

“I love watching The New Day, I would love either Kofi or Big E [to win]; that would be a very cool moment. I’m a big fan of The New Day and what they do.

“Brock Lesnar is an absolute monster, he’s an absolute beast and all you have to do is look at his championship reigns and also what he has done in UFC.

“I think him coming in at No1, I would not be surprised if he lasted the full way.

“Historically, [as] No1 we’ve seen people do that but we’ll see. It’s a hard one to call and I also like enjoying it as a fan and getting caught up in it, I like that excitement.”

Cross will be in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match as will her tag team partner Alexa Bliss, with whom she won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships last year.

The former NXT star claims that if they are in the ring at the same time then they will work together until one of them earns a women’s title match at WrestleMania 36.

But if the British superstar is on her own then she will take advantage of that opportunity to show the WWE Universe what she can do, just like she did last year on her Royal Rumble debut.

Cross added: “It depends when our numbers get drawn because our numbers are chosen at random.

“Obviously if me and Lexi are in there at the same time then we will be working together and do the best that we can.

“I came in last year [when] people were still getting to know me and I think after a year when people have seen me in Tag Team Matches a lot – they’ve seen me and Alexa win the Women’s Tag Team Championship – I just love showing people what I can do.

“I think the Royal Rumble is a great opportunity and it is a great chance for people to see more of what I can do and, like I said, me and Alexa no doubt we will be in the ring at the same time.

“And we will be working together because that is what best friends do.”
