Jessica Simpson is truly an ‘open book’ in her upcoming memoir with the same name! That being said, you may have heard that she is talking about her former relationships as well in it, including her truth about her marriage with Nick Lachey and its ending!
But how does the man feel about her willingness to reveal everything in the book set to hit shelves on February 4?
After all, from the excerpts that have been shared already, it seems like it’s a deeply personal account of Jessica’s life but that also means writing about the people who have been in it and how they have changed and affected her along the way.
Jessica and Nick got married in 2003 but only two years later, they divorced.
The woman wrote how they were too young for such a serious step and could no longer pretend they were that ‘perfect golden couple’ they appeared to be on the small screen.
‘I was very young and my success had not really begun. He knew me as this young and innocent 18-year-old who had never been introduced to the world in many ways. I went straight from my dad to him. Nick is very smart. He was 8 years older than me, but he was also young,’ the star explains in her book.
One insider report now claims to know Nick is mentally prepared for whatever else Jessica has written in her book and which will soon become public.

The source tells HollywoodLife that ‘Nick and Jessica’s relationship was something people saw from beginning to end, so now that Jessica’s book’s coming out, Nick is thinking, ‘What else could possibly be spoken about?’ He is ready for whatever will be said and really does not care. He is very tuned out from it. He has moved on from all of that now and is not going to give it any attention. It’s in the past for him.’
