Man Utd boss Solskjaer hopeful of completing transfer as he explains squad clear-out plans

The result yesterday saw Burnley claim their first ever Premier League win at Old Trafford.

It was the third season in a row Burnley had gone 2-0 up at Old Trafford, but many home supporters weren’t expecting to see Untied mount another spectacular comeback this time around.

Some fans even stayed away as empty seats were seen around the stadium and droves of supporters left early before the final whistle.

United have now lost more Premier League games than they have won since Solskjaer was appointed as manager on a permanent basis in March last year.

The Red Devils have lost 12 Premier League games, drawn nine, and won just 11, with Solskjaer as their permanent manager.

It is also the second time they have lost back-to-back games with Solskjaer at the helm, following their 2-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday.
