Newlyweds Lisa Faulkner and John Torode are currently on honeymoon in an unknown tropical destination.
The couple, who co-present John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen, are finally able to take a break from their busy filming schedules to enjoy a romantic holiday together three months after their star-studded nuptials at Aynhoe Park.
Earlier this week, Lisa, 47, took to social media to document their trip adding: “Without the lows we can’t appreciate the highs.”
Australian chef John, 54, also shared footage from their “stormy” honeymoon on his own social media account.
He posted a video on Instagram, in view of his 104,000 followers, of Lisa on their resort balcony, looking out as the rain poured down.
He could be heard asking his wife: “What’s the weather like Lisa?” before answering the question himself.
The celebrity cook said: “It’s a proper tropical storm, that’s what it is. Stormy, stormy, stormy…”
Last night, it was still raining when the couple headed out to dinner.
Lisa filmed John at the table as he waited for his evening meal and shared the footage with her 217,000 Instagram followers.
She captioned the clip: “It’s pouring!! But we don’t care!! What’s on the radio? [laughing emoji]”
Toto’s 1981 track Africa, which features the lines “I bless the rains down in Africa”, was playing in the restaurant.
Earlier in the week and before the rain, the former actress shared a picture of the swimsuit-clad couple on the beach when the sun was shining.
