James Jordan: Strictly star runs into trouble weeks before birth of first child ‘Hassle'

James Jordan, 41, regularly takes to Twitter to give his followers a glimpse into his day-to-day life and it was no different when the Dancing On Ice winner spoke about his car problems yesterday. The former Strictly Come Dancing star revealed someone had reversed into his car after he did a bit of shopping.

In view of his 266,000 followers, James explained he remained calm about the situation because the person in question appeared quite “upset” over the ordeal.

He wrote: “Just popped to the shops and when I came out someone had reversed into my car.

“I have no idea how it was possible NOT to see my car, however, I was very calm and polite with the lady as she seemed quite upset about the whole thing. I know it’s only a car but it’s the hassle.”

Fans inundated the outspoken dancer with messages, as he also shared that his pregnant wife Ola Jordan, 37, was in the car at the time of the incident but fortunately was not hurt.

James cheekily replied: “Just seen this, she is mine mate,” followed by a laughing-face emoji.

Dancing On Ice contestant Joe Swash chimed: “Omg she will be Beautiful. Lucky she looks like her mum lol.”(sic)

While his lady love Ola, simply responded with a series of heart emojis.

The married couple announced they were expecting their first child in September last year and their new family addition is due this March.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star fell pregnant on the first round of IVF in June, despite doctors giving them a 50 per cent chance of being successful on their initial attempt.

Speaking to HELLO! Ola gushed: “I still can’t quite believe it. I don’t think it’s properly sunk in.”

She added: “When we had the scan it was funny because the baby was dancing. I’m not sure if it was a cha-cha or a jive, but it was definitely dancing.

“Finding out that we are pregnant is no doubt our biggest achievement ever. This is probably the most special and exciting thing that has ever happened to us.”
