A new fan petition on Change.org says: “Tom Ellis while playing Lucifer does pretty much everything Bond already does; fast cars, love of women, secret missions etc.
“I honestly can’t think of a more British, charming, good looking, Bondesque actor to play him. People have suggested Idris Elba but even he thinks that is a crazy suggestion and doesn’t want to do it.
“Tom is clearly the best person for the role.”
