Chelsea boss Frank Lampard hits out at Roy Keane after Man Utd legend’s brutal assessment

“All I have to do is do the best possible job I can do here.

“A lot of people want to question inexperience and it’s my job to do as well as I can here, so I put those questions to bed.”

To do that, Lampard feels any manager needs time – a plea for which he made on behalf of Solskjaer as well as himself – with his opposite number in the Arsenal dugout Mikel Arteta also in the same boat as Chelsea look to bounce back from a disappointing late defeat to Newcastle on Saturday.

“When it comes to Ole or myself, you do want time and you do want put all those things in place,” Lampard said.
