Catherine Zeta Jones dazzles in silver alongside husband Michael Douglas at SAG Awards

Catherine Zeta Jones, 50, dazzled at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles last night.

The actress wore a show-stopping silver number when she attended the star-studded Hollywood event to support to her husband Michael Douglas, 75, who was nominated for two awards.

The couple, who are parents to Dylan, 19, and Carys, 16, put on a cosy display when they posed for pictures together on the red carpet before heading into the venue for the prestigious award ceremony.

Catherine opted for stunning silver dress with a starburst detail at the waist for the Californian event.

The long-sleeved design featured a plunging neckline which gave a tantalising glimpse of her cleavage and a daring thigh-high slit at the front to showcase her toned pins.

It also featured a cutout detail at the back.

For the A-list bash, the Welsh actress opted to wear a gown by Julien Macdonald – a fashion designer from her native country who has worked for Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Givenchy.

She teamed the shimmery dress with strappy sandals in the same colour from Italian footwear desire Giuseppe Zanotti.

The beautiful brunette wore her raven tresses swept away from her face and cascading in waves over her shoulder as posed for pictures on the red carpet.

She added even more drama to her ensemble with a pair of statement diamond earrings which complimented her gown.

The mum-of-two enhanced her natural beauty with a sweep of black eyeliner and fluttery eyelashes teamed with a light plum shade of lipstick.

She held hands with her husband of almost 20 years, who looked dapper in a classic black suit and bow tie.

Earlier in the evening, Catherine shared a video on her Instagram account as she made her way to the glitzy award ceremony with her husband.

She told her 3.1 million followers: “In the car!!! Congrats to all the nominees tonight at the Screen Actors Guild awards #SAGAwards.”

In the footage, Catherine spun the camera around to show Michael, who earned himself two SAG Award nominations for his portrayal of Sandy Kominsky in Netflix comedy series The Kominsky Method.

The actor, who also produces the show, was nominated for both Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series and Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble.
