Stacey Solomon: ‘Never have to argue’ Loose Women star addresses partner Joe Swash

Loose Women panellist Stacey Solomon, 30, chatted about her relationship with Dancing On Ice 2020 contestant and boyfriend Joe Swash, 37 on the ITV panel show earlier this week. The mum-of-three admitted she would love to have Video Assistant Referee (VAR) – which is used in football – at home so her beau can not deny things the presenter has asked him to do.

Speaking about using VAR in our day-to-day lives, Stacey admitted it would bring her great “satisfaction” if she could use the technology.

Chatting on Wednesday’s show, Stacey told her co-hosts: “I mean, come on! The satisfaction I would get.

“Everyone’s had those days where you say, ‘All I need you to today is put the rubbish out and make sure that you wash those bottles. And then when I get home I can take over.”

The studio audience began to laugh as Stacey recalled the time Joe was asked to take the rubbish out but claimed he was never asked too.

Elsewhere, her beau Joe recently opened about rehearsals for Dancing On Ice which mean he’s spending time away from Stacey, their baby Rex and his older son Harry, 12 – who is from a previous relationship.

The presenter admitted he feels “guilty” having to juggle his work commitments and spending time with his boys.

Speaking to MailOnline, Joe divulged: “I’m really starting to feel the pull because I need as much time with my kids as possible.

“I’m really lucky because Stacey is an incredible mum, she’s such a support as well. My only problem is juggling.”

He continued: “I’ve got a good support network, but I do feel guilty, I do feel guilty. Every weekend I’m going to be working, so I have to make the time up in other places with the kids.”

The former EastEnders actor scored 21.5 out of 40 points during his first performance in week one of Dancing On Ice.

This put him in seventh place out of 12 across the first two weeks of the ITV show.

Dancing On Ice continues tonight on ITV at 6pm.
