Rainbow Six Siege DOWN: Server Status latest on why R6 is not working

Ubisoft has confirmed that Rainbow Six Siege is down today on Xbox One.

The latest Server Status news is that today’s problems are only affecting Xbox Live users are this time.

A message from the Rainbow Six Siege support team on why the game is down, reads: “Hello everyone. We’re aware of an issue currently affecting connectivity for Rainbow Six Siege on Xbox One and are working towards resolving this.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience. Please be sure to check this thread for future updates. Thanks.”

Rainbow Six Siege servers have been down for several hours for some Xbox One gamers. The most recent update from Ubisoft on why the game is still offline adds:

“We are still investigating the issue affecting connectivity for Rainbow Six Siege on Xbox One. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”

It’s unclear what has caused today’s problems as no other Xbox Live services have been flagged in the same way. And that would suggest it is a problem on Ubisoft’s end.

No ETA on when the servers will be back online have given but it appears that the game will remain playable on PC and PS4 for the time being.

One user describing today’s problems adds: “The issue I’m having is when it says push any button to start is just keeps loading.
