Even though Wendy Williams has apologized after her insensitive comments regarding Joaquin Phoenix’s supposed cleft lip, it turns out that someone is not even close to forgiving her! Upon learning about the scandal, Cher took to social media to drag the talk show host over her scandal that had already gotten her a lot of backlash.
But while other people who previously called her out seemed to forgive Wendy after her apology, Cher has not.
In fact, she believes there is no way an apology could even make up for what she did and wants Wendy fired from her own talk show!
As you might know, this whole drama started with Wendy trying to compliment the actor.
Instead, however, she ended up insulting the whole cleft community and many took the time to educate her on the matter.
It has to be noted that Joaquin has denied having a cleft lip in the first place, claiming in the past that it was a ‘nonsurgical scar.’
Wendy realized her mistake, apologized and even donated money to charities helping kids with the condition.
However, that was not the end of it.
Upon finding out about what Wendy said and perhaps even worse, the gesture she did, Cher became livid!
She tweeted in all caps: @WendyWilliams I Was Going To Try and Hold My Temper BUT IM SO F***ING ANGRY I CANT. In 1985 I Made a Film Called “MASK”!’ THROUGH THAT FILM I BECAME INVOLVED WITH CHILDREN And ADULTS WHO HAD CRANIOFACIAL ANOMALIES. YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THESE PPL GO THROUGH!! 20+ OPERATIONS. BEFORE THEIR TEENS MUCH OF THE TIME THEY ARE IN PAIN, AFRAID, BUT HAVE HOPE THEY WILL LOOK NORMAL. THE HEARTBREAK And FEAR THEIR PARENTS GO THROUGH IS UNBEARABLE.’
Cher went as far as to then say that Wendy should lose her job!
When one fan pointed out that Wendy had already apologized, Cher showed no mercy.

Her response was that: ‘THERE IS NO APOLOGY FOR WHAT SHE DID…. AND LAUGHED ABOUT!! I KNOW THESE CHILDREN, AND ADULTS. THEY GO THROUGH HELL,THEIR PARENTS GO THROUGH HELL! Fk Her Apology. SHE WANTS TO KEEP HER JOB!! I CAN’T CONTAIN MY ANGER.’
