Stacey Solomon’s partner Joe Swash addresses 'guilt' as he admits ‘problem’ behind scenes

Stacey Solomon, 30, and Joe Swash, 37, welcomed their young son Rex back in May last year. The Dancing On Ice 2020 star has now revealed rehearsals for the ITV show are putting pressure on his family life with his girlfriend.

Spending time on the ice means he’s spending time away from Stacey, their baby Rex and his older son Harry, 12 – who is from a previous relationship.

The presenter admitted he feels “guilty” having to juggle his work commitments and spending time with his boys.

Speaking to MailOnline, Joe divulged: “I’m really starting to feel the pull because I need as much time with my kids as possible.

“I’m really lucky because Stacey is an incredible mum, she’s such a support as well. My only problem is juggling.”

He continued: “I’ve got a good support network, but I do feel guilty, I do feel guilty. Every weekend I’m going to be working, so I have to make the time up in other places with the kids.”

The former EastEnders actor scored 21.5 out of 40 points during his first performance in week one of Dancing On Ice.

This put him in seventh place out of 12 across the first two weeks of the ITV show.

Joe skated to Olly Murs’ Dance With Me Tonight alongside his professional partner Alexandra Schauman.

After popping them in her new kitchen cupboard – with glass panels to show off the range perfectly – she prepared for the actor’s arrival.

She could be heard saying: “What do you think you’re doing?” seemingly addressing Joe.

He replied: “Getting a cup,” to which she clarified: “No no, the cups for you to use are hidden in the cupboard below,” before bursting into giggles.

Appearing completely bemused, the ex EastEnders star exclaimed: “So I’ve got to drink out of separate cups now?”
