Daniel Craig lampoons his James Bond in HILARIOUS No Time To Die Heineken advert – WATCH

With the arrival of a new James Bond comes a whole host of product placements. And as usual, some Heineken beer adverts have been made to tie-in with No Time To Die. The latest teaser, shot in Tarragona, Spain, sees Craig playing himself.

The Bond star is shown reading by the seashore before getting a text on an old mobile phone asking him to dinner at 7.

What transpires are some farcical antics lampooning Craig’s image as James Bond.

First, he gets in a taxi but the driver, knowing he’s the star takes him on something of a detour, before the 51-year-old leaves his phone, wallet and passport on the seat.

As Craig sprints after the car, it looks like he’s about to take part in an impressive stunt before amusingly running out of breath and giving up.

The star then finds himself sneaking into a venue and stealing a tuxedo, all the while leaving staff looking confused.

This clumsy version of Craig knocks over a waiter’s tray before the taxi driver suddenly reappears.

The Bond actor finally gets his stuff back before celebrating with a Heineken, only to then continue being completely out of character and burping loudly.

Last week the first new Heineken ad starring Craig’s Bond saw him drinking non-alcoholic beer.

But it just turns out that Bond is being responsible, telling the barman: “I’m working.”

Amusing, but it’s never stopped 007 drinking on the job before has it?

Yesterday, it was announced that 18-year-old pop star Billie Eilish will sing the No Time To Die theme.

Beyonce and Dua Lipa had been bookies’ favourites, but instead, the teen star is the youngest artist to bag a Bond theme ever.

Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said: “We are excited to announce that Billie and Finneas have written an incredibly powerful and moving song for No Time To Die, which has been impeccably crafted to work within the emotional story of the film.”

Eilish herself added: “It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour.

“James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock.”

No Time To Die is released in UK cinemas on April 2, 2020.
