The US President had just told his audience that the signing of phase one of the China trade deal would massively boost exports of US products, when the first protester struck. As the protester was removed by security, Trump quipped: “She’s going home to mom where she’ll be in big trouble. Because I guarantee you, mom voted for Trump.”

Shortly afterwards, two more demonstrators were evicted as an increasingly irritated US President shouted: “Get ’em out of here.”

During the rally, Trump talked about the recent killing of Iranian general Qasem Soleimani.

He called the former Quds Force commander “a son of a bitch”, who should have been killed 20 years ago.

Trump also claimed that Iranian protesters were for the first time on the side of the US.

He said: “They love America. They love our country. That’s called progress.”

However, the US President denied that the US wanted regime change in Iran.

Trump was cheered enthusiastically by his supporters, who chanted “Four more years” at regular intervals.
