Ollie Williams: ‘It wouldn’t be fair’ Love Island star breaks silence as he quits show

Love Island 2020 contestant Ollie Williams, 23, who was coupled-up with Paige Turley, 22, on the reality show, has revealed he has left the villa due to still being in love with an ex-girlfriend. He said in a statement: “I have to be honest with myself, and everyone, that I do still love someone else.

“I have to follow my heart in this scenario and it would be wrong for me to ignore these feelings.

“At the end of the day, this is Love Island and it’s about finding love.

“If I carried on anything with Paige, or any other girl that might come into the villa, it wouldn’t be fair on them.”

It is believed the ex-girlfriend he is referring to is named Laura Nofer, 23, who he dated for 18 months.

It is believed the photos were taken and published on an Instagram account to promote his hunting business Cornish Sporting Agency.

The account was deleted before it was known Ollie would be in the Winter series of Love Island.

After the pictures emerged, a petition was set up to get him removed from the show – which gained over 11,000 signatures.

Elsewhere, despite leaving the show, he will be featured in the episode this evening.
